Beliefs about Religious Texts

About 60% of the total population believed their religious text was fully inspired by God.

The following questions were asked of those who stated religion or religious faith was at least "somewhat important" to them personally.

About half of the population disagreed that there are errors in their religious text on moral, spiritual, or religious matters, and most of those person "strongly disagreed". Evangelical and Black Protestants disagreed more than the average. A similar proportion of the population strongly disagreed that there are errors in their religious text regarding science or history.

About 60% reported trying hard to live all their life according to their religious beliefs.
